Organized by Gregory Brown

INFORMATION

The fourth annual conference of the Leibniz Society of North America will be held on the campus of the University of Houston, in Houston, Texas, from 3-5 December 2010. There was an open call for papers for this year's conference, with submissions invited on any aspect of Leibniz's philosophy. The response was very gratifying, with nearly three times as many submissions as open slots on the conference schedule. As a result, the papers for the conference are of a very high caliber, with a nice mix of papers from established scholars and younger scholars. This year's conference also attracted a significant number of international submissions, and there will be scholars from six different countries presenting papers. Everyone interested in Leibniz's philosophy is cordially invited to attend.

The conference will begin on Friday, December 3 at 2:00 PM and will end at 12:30 PM on Sunday December 5. The conference will take place in room 212S, which is directly behind the Honors College Commons. The Honors College Commons is located in M. D. Anderson Library. As you enter the front of the library, make a hard right and go up the spiral stairway to the Honors College.
